وَلَوْ أَنَّ قُرْءَانًۭا سُيِّرَتْ بِهِ ٱلْجِبَالُ أَوْ قُطِّعَتْ بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَوْ كُلِّمَ بِهِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ۗ بَل لِّلَّهِ ٱلْأَمْرُ جَمِيعًا ۗ أَفَلَمْ يَا۟يْـَٔسِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ لَهَدَى ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعًۭا ۗ وَلَا يَزَالُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ تُصِيبُهُم بِمَا صَنَعُوا۟ قَارِعَةٌ أَوْ تَحُلُّ قَرِيبًۭا مِّن دَارِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِىَ وَعْدُ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ ٱلْمِيعَادَ ٣١
اور اگر کوئی ایسا قرآن آتا جس سے پہاڑ ٹل جاتے یا زمین پھٹ جاتی یا مردے باتیں کرتے جب بھی یہ کافر نہ مانتے بلکہ سب کام اللہ ہی کے اختیار ميں ہیں تو کیا مسلمان اس سے نا امید نہ ہوئے کہ اللہ چاہتا تو سب آدمیوں کو ہدایت کردیتا اور کافروں کو ہمیشہ کے لیے یہ سخت دھمک (ہلادینے والی مصیبت) پہنچتی رہے گی یا ان کے گھروں کے نزدیک اترے گی یہاں تک کہ اللہ کا وعدہ آئے بیشک اللہ وعدہ خلاف نہیں کرتا
And were such a Qur’an to come that would cause the mountains to move, or the earth to split asunder, or the dead to speak, even then these disbelievers would not believe; in fact, all matters are only at Allah’s discretion; so have not the Muslims despaired in that, had Allah willed, He would have guided all mankind? Disasters shall continue to strike the disbelievers on account of their deeds, or descend near their homes until Allah’s promise comes; indeed Allah does not break the promise.
